When FL and I first visited the Daorae Korean BBQ Restaurant (Kepong), we did not try their BBQ. The name of the restaurant already let us know that this is an BBQ restaurant but still we didn't try it, very regret, hehe so.. we decided to visit this Korean restaurant again to try their BBQ. Oh yes, another excuse to eat nice food. hehe..
If you want to try the BBQ, you have to at least order two different dishes (can be meat or toufu), so we ordered a plate of pork and a plate of beef and also a bowl of Kimchi soup (Kimchi-jjigae, RM 16) which comes with a bowl of rice. (we actually didn't want to order the soup but the boss (i think he's the boss gua, also a korean which speaks little bit english, we need to guess what's he's trying to tell us.. hehe..) kept insists that we should order the soup cos for korean bbq, soup is a must. hehe..that's wat he said lar, that is why we ordered.)
So how to eat? According to the boss, you take a piece of vege, then put the meat above the vege, add some sauce, then you can add some onion too, so that's the way you eat...The pork taste nice, sweet... but the beef taste nicer...
Their BBQ is not cheap but the portion of the 2 dishes are very big and with all the free stuff, it's really enough for 3 or 4 person!! This meal took us Rm 91.30 (include 10% service charge), not cheap but it's worth it. Have you tried this before? If not you should really try one day...best to go with 3 or 4 friends, else really very hard to finish all these food...
