FL told me about this pizza, pasta place when he's flipping through the brochures that comes with the maybank credit card bill. He said he went with his colleagues once and the food taste quite ok.
There's a promotion for maybank credit card holder. If your bill exceed RM60, you will entitled to get a 50% discount (of cos must pay with maybank credit card lar...). 50% discount? quite worth while wor.. therefore we decided to go try it out. We went to the PJ shop @ Damansara Utama, same row with the OCBC bank, 2 shops away from star bucks (or just beside, hehe i cannot remember.. ). There's also one in KL, but i'm not sure where. hehe..
Izzi @ Damansara Utama
we were there quite early, around 6pm..
there's only a few tables occupied.
the environment quite nice..
but i feel that their lights are too dim...
hehe... oh ya, they got free WIFI too..
this is their so called lemon tea..
basically is a cup of hot water + a tea bag..
RM6.80 leh..very the expensive..
very not nice lar the smell...
it's a herbal tea bag from lipton..
smell not nice, drink of cos not nice also lar..
but already ordered, so no choice lar.
die die also must finished it!! :p
Iced Cappucino, RM7.80
looks a lot nicer than my lemon tea rite..
taste normal lar.. like cappucino. hehe..
Chicken Steak with Pasta, RM 21.80
Looks nice, smells nice and taste nice too.
but very small portion..
Beef Bo Luc Lac, Rm 22.80
this one taste like normal fried beef with
white rice. not worth for the price.
beef very little, rice a lot..
The food there are quite ok but quite expensive. we purposely ordered expensive stuff so that our bill exceeds RM60. Take note, the maybank credit card promotion does not include beer & desserts. Therefore make sure the food you ordered exceed RM60 without including the beer & desserts.
The total of our bill is RM62+, luckily we asked them, else i really need to pay for RM62+. Why? The total bill is RM59+, only after added the 5% gov tax then it only becomes RM62+.. and of cos the maybank promotion does not include tax as well.. therefore we were forced to order another thing, just to make our bill exceeds Rm60 (excluding tax).
so we ended up ordering the
garlic bread, RM4.80.
we requested to take away..
So how much now? After 50% discount we need to pay RM33.60. I personally think it's quite worth to eat IF there are 50% discount, else, the food there are way too expensive, small portion and expensive!! Do you have maybank credit card? If yes, you shall go try it out.. but remember, RM60 must exclude the beer, desserts & tax!!
