John King @ Pavilion KL (香港蛋挞王)

I read about this John King (香港蛋挞王) from a magazine few months ago. The photos on their egg tarts looks really nice! I totally forgot about this when I went to Pavilion yesterday until I saw a lot of ppl carrying the John King's egg tart's plastic bag. Since i'm there, i definitely must try lar, right?

The stall is located at level 1, the Pavilion's
food court (Food Republic). So many ppl
queuing up! Their business was really good!

see almost kosong la! ppl keep buying,
they keep baking, i'm pretty sure it'll be very fresh!

besides egg tarts, they got chicken pie too!

and walnut cookies, RM 5 per box.

There are quite a few flavors such as the original egg tart, the durian egg tart, the corn tart, the egg white tart and etc. I wanted to try all but the aunty in front of me bought all the durian tarts. :(

Finally, i managed to rampas
one box from the aunty. hehe..

2 original egg tarts (pastry), RM 1.60 each,
1 corn tart, RM 1.70.

1 Egg White Tart (Cookies), RM 1.70

i also bought a box of walnut cookies,
RM 1 per piece wo.. quite expensive.

and also a box of QQ balls.
There are 8 QQ balls, so 1 = RM 0.60.

Guess how much altogether? Not cheap wo.. RM 17.22 (including 5% gov tax) for all these. Which egg tart is the best? The Egg White Tart! Very very nice!! Corn tart also not bad, the least nice is the original egg tarts. Strange hor, normally original one nicer mar.. Too bad the aunty bought all the durian tarts, else i can try that too. Durian tarts are the most expensive one, RM 2 each!!
