A lot of branch = good?

What is in your mind when you see restaurant A opening lot's of branch? Last time, opening a new branch means business is good and therefore business expanded, opening a new shop at a new area. But now, more branch doesn't means it's good.

I think it's one of their strategy, for eg, u see a newly opened Restaurant Z in your place. Then few weeks later you see a branch of Restaurant Z around your work place, and in some other areas. What will you think? hmm, must be quite good, else where got money to open so many branches? When you have this thought, you will surely go try it out. They attract ppl to visit their restaurants by opening more branches.

Therefore, a lot of branch is not equal to good food or good business. I've seen some restaurant purposely informed their customers that they had NO branch!! haha.. world has changed, business strategy also has changed.
